Nexen Tire Project
We carried out Nexen Tire’s Czech Plant Phase 1 Project in the Zatec region 70 km northwest of Prague, the capital of Czech Republic, from March 2017 to May 2019. Our contract scope included the detail design, procurement and construction. The plant consisted 26 buildings, including the production building, UT building, and auxiliary buildings, such as research and welfare facilities, and had the production capacity of 16,000 tires per day.
Stronghold for the European Market based on Capability and Experience
Based on the capability we gained from carrying out tire plant projects in Hungary and China since 1998 and our experience in the Central European region, we gradually built a stronghold to target the European market. In addition, we maximized the production efficiency based on a good understanding of the tire production process and completed the project successfully while complying with the European safety and environmental standards, such as hygiene, fire protection, and labor requirements.
